RED DEER – Red Deer is the host site for the AFHL U18 AA Showcase December 15-17.
The annual showcase consists of the 12 teams who make up the North and South Divisions of the U18 AA division. Games are being held at the Gary W. Harris Canada Games Centre and Collicutt Centre.
On Friday afternoon, the puck drops with the North Central Impact (12-0-3), and the hometown Red Deer Sutter Fund Chiefs (9-3-2) for the first game of the weekend and concludes with the St. Albert Raiders Sharks and Calgary Fire Red at 4:30 P.M. on Sunday. A total of 18 games are being played over the course of the weekend.
Calgary Fire White, the first-place holders in the South Division with an 11-3 record, will take on St. Albert on Friday night.
Games will be livestreamed on FloHockey throughout the weekend, with live scoring updated on u18femaleaa.ca.
