Fifty-three AFHL Players Commit to Post-Secondary Institutions

RED DEER – Fifty-three players from the Alberta Female Hockey League (AFHL) are graduating to the post-secondary institutions to begin the next level of their sport  careers. Each year, the AFHL is proud to graduate many players to the next stage in a variety of sports. The expanding list below features 51 players who will be suiting up for colleges and universities during the 2023-24 season and two players who will be playing NCAA Division I in the 2024-25 season.

The list includes:

  • Thirty-two players from the U18 AAA division.
  • Eighteen players from the U18 AA division.
  •  Sixteen players headed to U Sports.
  •  Eighteen players headed to NCAA Div. 3 or ACHA.
  •  Fifteen players headed to ACAC.
  •  Four players headed to NCAA Div. 1.
